Job Summary
Work will focus on assisting with hiring and employment processes for civil service staff.
The student worker is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Many responsibilities involve handling confidential information and meeting time-sensitive deadlines. Duties will include assisting with job postings and mailings, editing and sharing job descriptions, running bi-weekly reports, handling verifications of employment, filing, reviewing appraisals and other employment related duties.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$15.50 per hour
Required Qualifications
1. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
2. Strong work ethic and attention to detail, along with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and organize.
3. Strong time management skills, with an emphasis on punctuality and reliability.
4. Ability to adapt to situations as they arise.
5. Ability to follow verbal and written directions with minimal supervision.
6. Previous office and/or customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Work Hours
Flexible within an 8:00 - 4:30, Monday - Friday schedule. Work up to 18 hours per week.
Available during the summer months and over winter break (closed between 12/24-1/1)
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete with or without a reasonable accommodation:

2. Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
